First off Valentines Candy clearly was not up for that. 21:1 and 8 flat final. Baffert at 6/5 was a JOKE. His other horse was working like a Baffert horse. That one wasn\'t!!
Shug said Integration came up from Florida and was doing great. He needed that last race and it was just a finish with good run Prep. Thats why the 3 week turnaround is actually ideal.
Integration started very late at 3 but started out pretty fast for a grass runner. They ambitiously place him early at 4 but he was competitive. In the Million Nations Pride got the jump on him after he escaped a little traffic. Kentucky Downs was money greed and a debacle. Since then he has settled in and now has some training and good timing for this. With Spirit of St Louis drawn wide and Integration drawn inside and saving ground, his 1.5 Top will be enough. I thinking he runs bigger and better as this HAS TO BE their priority spot. Grade One Derby Weekend. If he stays 4-1 it\'s okay to bet out on this one. The Derby won\'t be this easy......
I thought the spacing for Integration was a negative. Of course both of us cannot be correct.
Agree (that we can\'t both be right) and fair point. I think he was conditioning a runner that he said needed to run. It was a very late move at a runner going a Mile he can\'t beat.
The spacing here and then the Manhatten works for me. This older horse bunch going longer on grass is NOT strong. Spackler is a Miler. There is no Appleby this weekend. Unless I missed it. Shug has Mt Washington. Limited Liabilty wants longer.
