Title: Chad Brown at Aqueduct
Post by: Silver Charm on April 04, 2025, 11:46:30 AM
Usually the thinking is that the horses shipping from Florida are better and in better shape. Due to better climate conditions and generally its where most of the better horses in a particular barn go for the winter.

Last year everything Chad Brown sent over from the Belmont Training Track for this portion of the Spring Meet came over loaded for BEAR. He has two of those running on Saturday. One in the 8th and the last. They have already been there and running and in one case burning money. Its a trend or an angle until it isn\'t. Klaravich or some of these guys never cared about Gulfstream. Me thinks its about to heat up.

Wood Memorial Card should do very well tomorrow with Kee and OP not running.

Hill Road scratched.  Fever.  Vanning from FLA no less ;)
Linda Rice two scratches already announced.  Better spots.
Brissett two scratches.  Seen no reason given.

I\'ll take a swing on a likely very big price in Statesmen for a trainer that I don\'t think will scratch . . . loved his last 2 races late; believe he will have legitimate pace to run at and we will find out if he is able to step up with these.  If Chad can start his better young turf horses off on Tampa\'s turf, why can\'t Shug start in earnest with his good young dirt horses off in Oldsmar?  (This one started at Sar as a 2yo but you get the point).
