Title: Thorpedo Anna - And 40 Years Ago Breeders Cup #1
Post by: Silver Charm on November 02, 2024, 06:30:01 AM
Its a Big Stage people. But if you want to be considered great this is where you have to perform. I messaged Kenny about a month ago and said I just watched the Kentucky Oaks again and I still get chills. I have not heard back from him since. Guy is a little busy. They will be sending but I heard the Japan horse may go.

Many may not remember but 40 years ago this all began. Wild Again, Slew O\'Gold, Gate Dancer 3 horse photo. We were in my best friends basement. You had to bet with your Bookie since there was no internet and probably a rotary dial phone. Wow time flies enjoy it all and good luck everybody

I was the first Breeders\' Cup at Hollywood Park in 1984 on a date with my future wife. She still does not give a crap about horse racing.

Retract most of this as Awesome Result in another scratch. Thorpedo Anna will now be 1/5.

I think the early leader in the Dustaff will be Alice Verite as she has shown speed in many her races and nobody seems to want to go early. Some of those Japanese horses are quick enough early. I may use in case she gets brave a bit, but it looks to me Thorpedo Anna and Awesome Result will both like stalk just behind. I think who ever gets first jump may be the winner and that is going to be Awesome Result in my mind, but Thorpedo Anna always has a response. I am not too interested in this as a betting race, but it is in a P5 sequence.
