Title: I’m curious
Post by: TGJB on July 27, 2024, 07:39:10 AM
All you guys who thought Fierceness’ stinker was cause it was Pletcher in the Derby, does that mean you love him today?

Nope.
Like the Mott horse.
Unless the odds go sideways.

I think you can always toss the Derby effort - I am still on him.

Now the bigger question!

Does he run to form and bomb in the Travers?

I hate posting this after the fact but just seeing the string.  The best evidence I have is that the entire room where I sit at Fairmount Park could confirm that all day I said, \"Fierceness wins today!\" and \"Fierceness runs a big one today!\"  So, yes, I loved him today.  Not a great betting race with only 6 interests but did cash and profit on the race but lost the pick 5 where I had him singled hitting 4 of 5 missing the Cox horse.  Losing day overall taking a couple of swings at Saratoga and Del Mar. (down $83.00 total so nbd after being alive to some good scores in the early Del Mar p4 but not to be).

For Whitney attendees, I changed my plans and I\'ll be up there if my flights go smooth that morning (I have my doubts).  Hoping to arrive by race 3 on Saturday and I\'ll be there for an 8-day affair with the Spaaaa!  And, of course, back for Labor Day weekend.  Hope we can still sit near the paddock after the FOX team stole our EXACT spot . . . . how kind in another move for the on track FANS.
