Title: Two Out of Three Ain't Bad
Post by: prist on April 03, 2024, 11:15:56 AM
Thoro-Graph Derby Profile:

1. Three or less preps
2. Pair of tops, or small new top
3. No more than 4 points of development off 2yo top

Assuming he\'s off a new top in the Arkansas Derby, JUST STEEL will miss the profile criteria by one day. He comes into the Derby off four preps.

He has a history of bouncing off tops, but maybe DWL can figure him out just in time. A small breakthrough in the Arkansas Derby would be a positive sign going forward. I\'m not going to hold the 24 hours against him.

If he can do it, Lukas would become the oldest trainer to win the Derby. Good luck, Coach.

He kept up with Muth the whole race, didn’t loose ground didn’t gain ground either.
Assuming he paired his top.
He is a legit contender
A growing horse can he move forward?
Coach giving him I believe his longest time off 5 weeks.
Like the breeding.
The coach and the Jockey Assumsen winning his first derby before dad.
Crazier fairy tales have happened.

GL
Keeping an open mind.
