Right now either three or four in the top ten, including Rezlegal.

So, two of ours finished in the top five. And Rez earned a good check at 14th.

Congrats to Rez!!!

I haven\'t even played at all last few years in any tourneys trying to qualify after Hawthorne moved their contests to OTB\'s.  I\'m not riding to Chicago to play at an OTB.  Of course, this all happened after they started demo of their property to start in on the casino stuff...their financial backer suddenly had a \"problem\" supposedly and then the Carey family doesn\'t have or doesn\'t want to put up the dough to finish it??

Meanwhile the Bears are building downtown now that the Arlington structure is long gone.  Gee, what a shocker.

And downstate at Fairmount, the place has been sold but not \"officially\" is the word and so who knows if it actually happens.  Racing in Illinois going splendidly.

Congrats to the TG folks that cashed.

Derby prep time gets serious now!

Thanks Fairmount. A shameless plug for Thorograph and its use in the contests follow- I have been outspoken that recreational handicappers have little chance of success against the CAW monster. The contests sponsored by Horseplayers and HORSETOURNEYS.com offer the perfect way to stay active, pick your spots as a bettor and get into large $ tourneys at modest cost.It cost me $18 last year to qualify and $30 this year. Coupled with the use of Thorograph the edge you have is substantial.I made  far more $ than I have ever made as a bettor. ( There is a huuuuge difference between handicapping and betting) Horse players are stubborn- If I can make the transition to being a contest player at this point in my life you all can. I have been fortunate enough to qualify each time I tried, made the semis the last 2 years and without taking away from any handicapping skills I may have, I could NOT have been successful without Jerry and Thorograph. I sat with a good group of handicappers the last 2 years- only one ( moi)was a Thorograph user! The Thorograph user made it to semis. Just do it!

Shameless plug indeed, but it speaks volumes. Congrats on the performance. That is a strong record in terms of qualifying and and even stronger result. I have been thinking about perhaps doing this and I joined the NHC this year and will see what happens.

Congratulations on your success at the tournament. I\'m not sure you would remember me, but we sat together at a couple of the Saratoga backyard barbecue seminars. The last one was with Jeff Franklin behind the burger shack on the Nelson avenue entrance. At any rate, I\'m wondering you if you might tell me a bit more on how you can get in to the horse players attorneys for $12 to $30? I\'ve tried to but It seems like they\'re always 75 or more to enter? Obviously I\'m a nubi at it but like you, would like to use that as a way to still play and if qualifying for the tournament were to happen it sounds like it\'s really fun. Thanks for any help that you made offer and if it\'s not something you wish to share I totally get that too. Congrats again.
