How did the seminar do on day one? I thought the 6th, 7th, and 9th were gettable. Depending on one\'s personal biases. Based on the lack of activity maybe not.
Did not get it this year, was going with just the basics this year, too much noise around 14 races to take all of it it and have it make sense. Information overload.
Personally needed She Feels Pretty, she was my single in the all turf pick 3 and all the rolling pick 3’s and 4. Boxed four in the the ninth race and caught the tri, so even for my birthday today.
She Feels Pretty had a wide trip and might of been best. Had the right strategy fading Tamara, but got beat by Chad Brown.
Who does everyone like in the Classic ?
I like White Abarrio, Zandon, Arabian Knight and Proxy, and will probably use those with Saudi Crown some in case they let him go to the front and avoid a speed duel. If he gets a easy half in :48 and 1:11, alone, might be tough to catch.
Another horse that has caught my attention is The Chosen Vron, even though he has been facing weaker fields, until his last, that grade one he won last out, and might be a tad short in the figs department, 3 for 3 at the distance and 7 for 8 at Santa Anita, has fired big off a long lay off before and should get more than the morning line of 5/1. Toughest group he has faced yet, but should run well.
White Abarrio lays over this field off of his last but big negative numbers like that are good bets against especially big jump up negatives.
Zandon, Saudi Crown, Ushba and Proxy offer value.
My key for the day is Hoist the Gold will use him in my horizontals
Either last year or earlier this year on a big day I left a Dallas Stewart outlier off my tickets and he beat me. Not today!
He probably did it both years or on some other big day - he has a knack for sneaking longshots into the exotics.
They nailed the Classic right on the head for thousands. I had them about even the rest of the weekend but I\'m so glad I ordered. We\'ve got two races left too.
I had bet a tri with 3/2-6â€"8-12-13 , JB crushed the correct one in the BCBC, nice call on Derma Sotogake TG. Should of bought it.
