This ought to make some of you happy - Saratoga has announced a $100,000 seeded Late Pick 5 as NYRA has seeded the pool with $100,000 on Saturday 8/12 - I assume as partial recompense for the P5 debacle last week.

Okay, so they are putting $100,000 into a pool to get us to come back, but they are not giving us any assurance that they won\'t screw up that pool like they screwed up the pool that they are giving us the recompense for?
Are these guys idiots?
This only works if they own up to the fact that they (a) self-immolated their pool safety and integrity and (b) are taking measures to make sure their self-immolation won\'t happen again. This can\'t happen until they correct the omissions from the Serling-O\'Rourke talk.
I just wish these guys would understand what they are doing.
This is like in South Africa where they have the anti-shark nets. These guys are trying to induce swimmers to go back into the ocean after a shark attack with monetary incentives, but they are not putting up the anti-shark nets first. This can only end badly. For those of you old enough to remember, this is not an idle comment - a champion 3yo filly in South Africa was killed by a shark while swimming in the ocean as part of the training regimen.
