Title: Haskell
Post by: apindy62 on July 21, 2023, 06:27:07 AM
Tapit Trice and Extra Anejo are my keys.

The derby winner Mage is in there also. He burned me in the derby in that he was a definitely a use horse but was lightly raced and seemed like the derby was too much too soon. The Belmont was the same Arcangelo had the talent but again too much too soon.

I won\'t get fooled again Frampton as Extra Anejo is the same profile going into the Haskell. So he and TT on my choices.

Who looks good if you\'re using BetMakers fixed odds as a guide? These are the opening prices if I\'m reading it correctly:

1. 8
2. 30
3. 10
4. 2
5. 7/2
6. 20
7. 6
8. 5/2

Market indicators suggest the best is yet to come from ARABIAN KNIGHT. Off two lifetime starts the Monmouth linemaker has him favored, and BetMakers has him a slight second choice behind the Kentucky Derby winner.

I can see it. He ran a fast number breaking his maiden as a 2yo, and then he coasted in the Southwest. You would think he\'s a better horse now than he was back in November.

However, 5/2 odds is nothing to get overly excited about. I think it\'s \"fair\" at best.

You guys see a price you like? What about 10/1 on SALUTE THE STARS? Yeah, it looks like he could bounce, but the risk/reward may be worth it. The 1\" he ran in the Pegasus, while going 5w4w according to Thoro-Graph, puts him in the mix.

Interesting race. Enjoy.

With you on Salute the Stars, was rank into the turn, and Howgreatisnate ran third and SoS\'s number is a couple of points faster for saving ground, if he runs back to that number & gets a trip, definitely betting material.

The UN a much better race from a value perspective IMO.

Red Knight obviously has the best numbers. I\'ll try to beat him based on his running style on that turf course, an outside draw, and 124 pounds.

Good Luck,

And your going to beat him with whom? Or are you going to wait until after the race and say \"see I told you\".

I tried to beat him with the wrong Maker. Perhaps you have me confused with some others on here.

Good Luck,
