From So Cal, wildfire smoke looks very familiar to me. Any bets if racing will be cancelled/postponed?
Spoke with a senior NYRA official a few hours ago ... tomorrow\'s training is still scheduled...BUT... they are ALL looking at the air quality forecast... Air quality significantly decreased this afternoon...If it doesn\'t improve I be shocked if there is racing tomorrow
At least the forecast looks to improve on Friday.

Training was cancelled at BEL & SAR for Thursday morning last night and racing decision comes later this morning.. However, from here in Merrick, things look very promising with clear, cool dawn and no smoke scent detectable. The 3p first post plays in favor of the forecast as well..
