I thought D. Wayne Lukas looked like a million dollars @ CD last Saturday. Probably Friday too but I don\'t remember Friday\'s appearance. A beautiful sports jacket (I\'m thinking leather maybe suede) and a nice wide-brimmed Cowboy Hat. Add a starched long sleeve shirt and an attractive necktie. I swear he looked great.
Today I read he was sending his filly Secret Oath To The Preakness. IMO, I\'d prefer he didn\'t.
Are you reading into him scratching his horse at the last second and thereby allowing a horse who was sitting on the best race of his life to draw in?
Or are you just complimenting his attire?
That's whats fun about conspiracy theory's easy to believe in no proof I have a friend loves betting the horses but he is a flat earther

I\'m definitely complimenting his attire!
I\'m not too fond of the filly vs males. Winning the filly triple crown seems more legendary than the Preakness. I know the Preakness pays five times as much.
ha im not implying any thing on Dwayne\'s part. Race fell apart and the best (only?) true closer won. Simple as that, IMO.
ha fair enough... also, I agree with you on the Preakness. Terrible move.

I said the same thing Friday. I told my wife DWL looks like a million bucks today.

I can\'t even name the filly Triple Crown. Oaks, Black Eyed Susan, Acorn I guess? Just looked it up and I was wrong for the record. And who was the last one to do it? This is the world we live in today SMH. Winning the Preakness is FAR more meaningful. 6 fillies have won it including Swiss Skydiver recently.
Guy is making the sporting move and running a filly against the best boys and people think it is a terrible move. This is a Great move even if she doesn\'t win.
Next, I\'m waiting for which barn will learn they have a colt that identifies as a filly and needs to run in the filly only races only to be applauded by racing\'s media. . . .The world sure is changing fast and I won\'t be shocked I guess if that really did happen. Insert Face Palm emoji
for racing? great, sure.
for the horse? I do not think she hits the super. Not fast enough, and she flattened out the last time she tried this at Oaklawn. Not much of an excuse there. ... this isn\'t Rachel.
Oaks / Acorn / Alabama if memory serves correctly.
Wrong on if she hits the super.
Wrong on filly TC.
:)
ha. at least I hit the exacta. (of being wrong)

If one believes this, then what\'s the problem? A plodding Derby winner who capitalized on a pace and an outclassed horse that will get overbet solely because of its genitalia?
Sounds like the betting opportunity of the century.
In fact, I was referring to the three filly stakes Fairmont referred to. My bad though, it is not generally referred to as the filly triple crown. Which is a term instead used for the 1000 Guineas, Epsom Oaks & St. Leger. Who knew?
Meanwhile, only Davona Dale won the Ky. Oaks, Blackeyed Sudan, and Acorn. 1979 fwiw.
For bettors, I suppose the filly in the Preakness makes both races more interesting. But that is not my concern.
Triple Tiara. And, beating males will probably bring more at the auction/offspring.
Wouldn\'t surprise in the least if she runs big in Duckpin town. If she wins they\'ll go to New York. She\'s headed for negative numbers .
She runs a 6 point new top. Goes forward again and then pairs. A nice healthy bounce and right back to a slighty faster pair. Imo
