Hearing news that he went down in a workout this morning.
Joe B
TDN printing/confirming that he died on track, apparent heart attack:

What an awful shame.
Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. And sad.
I thought it surprising that MEDINA SPIRIT ran a new top in the BC Classic. I expected him to pair up his last: a -1 at best. Yet he did improve. 4W4W.
I don\'t know what [rocket fuels] get(s) into Bob Baffert\'s horses. Only Vin Baker knows. And he ain\'t sayin. [Cuz he\'s never been asked by our racing press?] See the stories from a few years back about Baffert/Baker\'s barn deaths involving... what was it? Rat poison? Heart rate effectors? Ugh. Very mysterious and troubling. Strong stuff is part of the equation here.
Baffert should never be allowed around horses again. He literally runs them into the ground. Awful for the horse and for the sport. Ban him for life.
I am excited to hear which groom or assistant trainer will be getting run over by the bus they will be figuratively \"thrown under.\"
My guess, and it is merely conjecture, is that Jimmy had heart surgery recently and is on some heart medication that MS was accidentally and unknowingly exposed to prior to the workout.
Would a necropsy show use of \"blood builders\"? Thickened blood?
Guess BC\'s additional testing has been proven a bust.
I swear KY was ready to sweep it under the rug, now they have to wait at least a few months for this to shake out.
Healthy 3-year old race horse athletes don\'t just drop dead. Disgusting. Sad. Has to end.
Baffert and his lawyer will allege what? Horsefly bit his ass? Smog in Pasadena did him in? Santa Anita track unsafe? Feed was contaminated? Another groom pissed on his feed?
Anyone else getting tired of this guy? And his lawyer? Baffert should be OVER AND OUT! MF\'er.
I wonder if Baffert has any relationship with Seth Fishman?
Jason Servis and veterinarian Dr. Kristian Rhein in which they were discussing a substance called SGF-1000, which prosecutors say was one of the misbranded or adulterated drugs at the heart of the case. Rhein told Servis that the substance could sometimes create a false positive for "dex," widely believed to refer to dexamethasone, and Servis asked Rhein to alter his veterinary records to make it appear as though horses had been treated with dexamethasone in case of a positive test.
Brammlage said West gave him permission to test MAXIMUM SECURITY for SGF-1000 with overseas tests. They can test for the stuff overseas, but we can\'t in the US (LOL).
Were these results ever released? Never saw them.
Baffert makes my stomach turn, if he\'s in the game, I\'m out.
