Title: Davila Carries For The Win
Post by: doug jackson on October 12, 2021, 08:06:22 AM
I\'ve followed Finger Lakes for years, and I\'ve see John Davila carry many horses down the lane, up there nobody is better at it.

Today is a classic Davila play in the sixth race. A Chris Englehart sprinter (#1 Not A Trace) stretching out to a route and leaving from the rail, should be controlling speed.

The main competition should come from #5 Star Manager.

The two have faced off before, on Aug. 30th going 3/4 of a mile, Not A Trace was in front of Star all the way, I expect more of the same today, with Davila keeping Not A Trace alive in the lane.

Is my speculation flawed?

Please don\'t make assumptions. I never bet a penny on that race. I posted as an example of what horse racing has devolved into.

Everyone knows in the age of information, high vig and takeout, social media communications, short prices.

Use to be, in years past that you could make money on that angle, not so much now.

Have a nice day.

Sir with all due respect there has never been any money or any “angle” involved in betting six horse fields at Finger Lakes. Ever. Surely there are better examples to make your point.
