What\'s missing from both of these articles is the impact on the fan, the handicapping public. How do fans get restitution?
Answer: we don\'t.
My racetrack friends remember that I called out Navarro and Servis several years ago. Servis, especially when he went an entire Gulfstream meeting while winning at close to a 50% level. It was impossible to do and not wise, but he did it.
Not surprised that he and Navarro were using mislabeled clenbuterol...that explains why they were winning short as well as long.
The biggest cheaters today are mostly blood dopers, which is far more effective in endurance racing. You don\'t see the future Hall of Famers wining sprints...but they are cleaning up at the Graded distance races. For years all the bicycle fans just thought the world of scumbag Lance Armstrong....but he was outed. The same is coming for those who have been dominating the Classics and the big turf races. Too many \'champions\' for too few trainers.
