Great article -- probably too long but there is a lot to write about Baffert and his propensity to flaunt the rules and his lawyer\'s ability to avoid any consequences. The narrative about all of the horses that have died under his care is very sad indeed (70+). Again, with no consequences.
Perhaps as the saying goes, sunlight is the best disinfectant. Transparency about the workings of an organization prevents corruption. I hope so. Bob sure has been front and center the last few weeks. Best of all was the SNL parody of him.

Even more interesting to see what happens going forward. Any opinions as to whether other current, ongoing investigations of other trainers might triangulate onto other (more serious) problems in Baffert\'s barn? Maybe its just long open gallops, better water, better hay, and oats?
