The last one (Hot Brown, not named after me)got crushed in the betting late. That horse ran poorly without Lasix last time and was going without it again today. This goes to the issue I’ve been raisingâ€" there are other things that can be used, legal and illegal, and they’re not listed in the program. And that information is worth a lot of money to people who bet a lot of money.

Turned Special Reserve from a 25k claimer to a Grade 3 winner. Nobody wondering how? Wondering if the authorities ever asked TG for info regarding move ups off claims and huge move ups in figs. You would think that would be probable cause for a search warrant  a pen register, phone taps and under cover surveillance.

That’s coming soon, actually, though it won’t work as probable cause. Announcement should be forthcoming, if the Jockey Club gets over being pissed off about my Lasix articles.

What kills me is everyone knows who are the bad actors. It seems just like in every other profession, they protect there own. Look at the Servis indictment, it wasn’t just one or two people. It’s the owners, trainers, assistants, grooms, vets, exercise riders and probably most jockeys. Code of silence.

So are you saying that if a horse bleeds, or just off lasix, there is something a trainer can do to negate that? Speaking of I read where mandaloun bled in LA derby, yet cox said he had no idea why he ran bad...are we supposed to guess who bleeds? who gets something to counter no lasix? If so this sport is toast...hot brown cost me pic 4...Concert tour bleed? Who knows.

That is sad...I get there is record handle this weekend, but that wont last. And it surely wont be the case on average racing days.

Hot Brown had a few good numbers from last year he could run back to. With his early speed he figured to get a good trip. I doubt he ran the fastest number today. I threw out the lone race this year as a first out off a layoff. It was a G1 against tougher.

That’s dead on. TGPS handle is way up on big days and down slightly on other days. Haven’t seen today yet.
