TGJB -

Did you have to do anything special with the figures for the Black-Eyed Susan?  Unlike the figures for the other dirt stakes on the card, they seem slow relative to other figure markers.

Probably unrelated:  the sheets show only one turn of ground for the Delaware Oaks (7/4/2020), which included Dream Marie, Hopeful Growth, and Project Whiskey.  8.5 furlongs at Delaware is a 2-turn race.  I don\'t know if this is just a formatting error or affects the figures for the race.

I did add a couple of points to the Susan, I have it marked for review. Tough call, didn\'t like giving out a whole bunch of new tops instead of pairs.

I also have the Alabama marked for review, there was an alternative way of going that would have had them running really big, and after SS\'s Preakness figure it\'s possible. We\'re trying to have all review through Saratoga done before the BC, which is a load. We\'ve already backfilled a lot of the early 2yo boxes.

We\'re looking at the Delaware race.

Just before the Preakness, Baffert was interviewed about how AUTHENTIC would run. Essentially, in no uncertain terms, he said his colt was breathing fire and would run big. He certainly was right. And the race reminds us that Baffert is best when he\'s 1w1w lone on the lead. When he\'s not...

To me, SWISS SKYDIVER completed the tail end of an unconventionally flat recovery pattern, which started fast in her Oaklawn race, bent back in something of a flattish semi-circle through Keeneland and Saratoga, and then curved back down to her Pimlico top. If you saw it this way, hopefully you cashed handsomely. And, not that I give a hoot, but I wonder whether this recovery pattern apparent on ThoroGraph\'s sheets was also apparent on the rival\'s sheets. I\'d guess: no.

Check out Mike Maker\'s EVIL LYN making a huge zoom improvement to win Pimlico\'s 4th race! My reaction when I saw the number? \"Hahahahahahahahhahahahah!\" You\'ve got to love Mike Maker! Talk about the predictive power of a sheet pattern. Here, there was none! Though notably, Maker travelled to Baltimore appearing in (gasp!) a suit and tie! [That is, as opposed to the \"beer belly over scruffy jeans\" look he wears 98% of the time.] He wanted to win for Paradise Farms and he got the job done.

Meanwhile, your Oaklawn friend is at it again.

Stunning. He had no OscarDrive at Saratoga. Then, suddenly at Keeneland... wham! Pretty much effecting most, if not all his entries. Even his 2 yo\'s are pumped. I caught on to it pretty quickly to profit. But as I said last time... past a certain point, it\'s not funny.

He\'s got two in the first race today. Let\'s see if we\'ll be laughing after.
