Title: Uncle Bill Concerns
Post by: Fairmount1 on July 27, 2020, 06:53:27 PM
Uncle Bill better be on the look out down there in Sebastian.  Bill should we be worried about you and your safety? This woman is loose in your town...This time of year I normally  wouldn\'t worry as you would be in Spa-Land but this year is obviously different.  Someone please let me know he is safe as last I heard from him he was only worried about SPA 2021 and was quarantined until at least next May.

Florida woman arrested for attacking dad who didn’t share his medical marijuana

She popped her pop in the privates â€" when he wouldn’t share a few puffs of pot.

A Florida woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly attacking her father and trying to grab his genitals after he refused to let her smoke his medical marijuana, The Smoking Gun reports.

Dakota DiRienzo, 22, allegedly lit up with anger because her dad, Luigi, had been sharing his pot with pals but not with his own daughter, the outlet reported.

They came to blows at his trailer park home in the town of Sebastian, just north of Vero Beach, cops alleged.

“Dakota attacked Luigi by pulling him down to the ground, and by attempting to grab his genitals,” according to the criminal complaint.

DiRienzo was arrested for misdemeanor battery and released from county jail Friday afternoon on $1,000 bond, according to TSG.

Oh Thank Goodness.

Just heard from Bill and he is currently safe.

He has reported that when he obtains a grow license (when Florida allows it) that those drug free Backyard Bandits should avoid all of his treats in his bag each day at the Spa.  Sorry Bill, I can\'t try any of your pastries ever again much less the new \"oil injected\" Extra Fatty Egg Sandwiches.

He said the Orange trees he currently has will be GONE.  Orange Trees are old school and Green Plants are new school and UB is never behind on times.

In the meantime, he also reports he is looking to make some new friends in Sebastian if he can find them at that trailer park.  And who knows, he may get lucky on more than one front......that sounds like his kind of gal!!!

Hope everyone is safe and well.  On a handicapping note, Chad Brown 0 for his last 14 at the Spa including Sistercharlie.....

Chad today, 0 for 4.  0 for his last 18 at the Spa.

Soon as the eyes on the stable leave, maybe he can get back to work.

2.15-1 2nd choice, 2nd
1.15-1 favorite, 6th
3.15-1 favorite, 3rd
12.90-1 first time starter 6th choice, 6th

JB, any chance you or others can take a look at the figs on these last 18 to see if they have regressed as a whole?  If not, I completely understand with the state of the world right now.

Thanks.

I noticed that Spirit Animal is entered in the 2nd on Saturday at the Spa. Chad and Klaravich dipped him into a $50k claimer for NW3 last out, and he won easily. He paid a generous $5.50, probably because people were cautious about the drop. He was reportedly claimed by Rudy Rodriguez that day. How did he get back into Chad\'s barn?  Maybe I just don\'t know what a \"waiver claiming\" race is?

From the Equibase Chart:

VOIDED CLAIMS:  Spirit Animal(Administrative)

It does not show on on the chart for DRF as best I can tell.

I\'ll let you (or others) run with this to figure out what the rules in NY are for voided claims (administrative).

Outstanding catch to know this one was claimed.

EDIT:  Maybe this will help also.

From article below:  \"Trainers are now allowed, but not required, to void a claim for the following three reasons: the horse presents as lame in the test barn, the horse is vanned off, or the horse shows epistaxis due to EIPH.\"  (Emphasis added)

Bebe Banker ran today. Last out at BEL he had a voided claim (admin reasons) and won by 8 in that race. Idk what’s going on with this, I’m guessing Covid / field sizes by the office. But that is a guess.

Regarding Chad... it’s either a massive, massive outlier, he has a bug in the barn, or something is up. I hope it’s not the latter but I’ve never seen a guy move up turf horses the way he can on a TG level.

... This is gonna catch heat but I miss the good old days where I could just single a nonsensical Servis and move on... what’s good for the goose, I suppose.

The chart was updated posthumously to add the voided claim. I swear I saw Rudy claimed him on the initial version.

Maybe I meant ex-post facto instead

I remember that race on America\'s Day At the Races.  You can go back and find the broadcast on Youtube.  They announced on the show (at around 3:13) that Spirit Animal would be going to Rudy Rodriguez.

Was gonna say the same thing.

I watched that telecast and they said he was going to Rudy\'s barn.

Interesting history indeed, but what does this mean for Saturday\'s early Pick 4/Pick 5? Play or fade?

I\'d ignore it.  There is some discussion on the paceadvantage board indicating that administrative voiding of claims is often for paperwork defects.  Interestingly, Spirit Animal\'s first work after the race appears to have been in company with a Rodriguez horse, but the last three have been in company with Brown horses.
