Which Baffert do we think comes over for it?
Good Luck,
Joe B
Fly into NYC in the middle of a pandemic.
One perspective might be... nah!
Another c/b I\'ll go to the beach instead.
Have the horse(s) met and cared for by NY\'ers.
@ 1 + 1/8 with no fans takes the personality out of the event.
I think the NCAA (March Madness) had the right idea.
Clearly you don\'t own any horses. I\'m working for a guy now who has had 2 Grade One winners standing in the barn for the last two months with nowhere to run.
People put $Millions of dollars into the game. They need to get some money out or they will be getting out. Then what do you have left. This is the best people can do for now.
You\'ve posted some very uninformed things on this board before. This might be the winner. Please, go to the Beach more and post less.....
Yeah, they put million of dollars into the game and depend on horseplayers to take them out via 20% takeouts and inflated purses .
How about we drop the millions to 100 thousands and the take to 10% .
Just sayin.
Yup, they put millions of dollars into the game and turn their runners over to
astute horsemen like Navarro and Servis.
Silver, Tavasco and everyone else is entitled to their opinion, the same way
you can wave your pompoms and tell us how great a game Racing is, how the glass
is half full, blah blah blah. Over the last 40 years I have seen things
backside and frontside that might lead me to conclude that Three Card Monty is
a more noble pursuit than the Sport of Kings. I love the Sport but harbor no illusions.
Tavasco says that a 9 furlong one turn Belmont which has been turned into a
Derby prep which will likely feature Baffert v Barclay doesn\'t excite him. The
man apparently pays his dues each night, betting on Asia Pacific tracks while
most of us are answering to our water pills.
Yeah, I\'m shedding a tear for you buddies with millions of dollars worth of
idle horseflesh and the training bills piling up; if I focus on their
predicament maybe I can take my mind off of the millions of unemployed, the
hundreds of thousands dead and the shuttered businesses that may never reopen,
not to mention the fact that Eddie Haskell is dead.
Eddie Haskell died? One of the great ones.I mean how many people have a race named after them while still alive.
Good Luck,
Joe B.

You make the rest of us here look like literary claiming horses, while you are clearly GR 1 caliber.
