This one will be interesting.....

I consider Randy a friend, but I would be more interested in what Baffert thinks before a race than after. That’s why he buys sheets, both ours and (last I heard) Ragozin’s.
The track changed speed a little throughout the card, but not too much. And it was 2-3 hours between that allowance and those stakes. Gamine also got in light and saved ground relative to By My Standards and Nadal, which will inflate her raw figure if you don’t adjust for those things.
Routes on the day were very straightforward, even the 1 3/4 race. Those of us who bet the winner of that one got lucky, he ran about the same figure as 4 others.
Anyway, first 3 in the Gamine race basically paired their tops. Not a tough one.
And by the way, to get highly technical, re the same amount of water being added between all races:
It was 77 degrees out, and there was a decent wind until the last two races. Unless the amount of water being added is exactly the same as the amount evaporating, racetracks are always getting either drier or wetter as the day goes on. On this day, my guess would be gradually drier, but it’s a guess.
Point being that in figure making, as with everything else in life, it’s never safe to assume you have all the information. The two sides of the house I can see are white.
Without giving away the actual figure, can you comment on Dunph\'s number from Saturday?
Huge jump for Diodoro. Aside from him the figures for the race make perfect sense.
