Title: Short Rest Stats
Post by: BitPlayer on September 07, 2004, 07:00:23 AM
Do I take it correctly from the Midas Eyes thread that TGJB disagrees with derby1592 about the impact of short rest being overrated by TG users?  Don\'t the \"Last start under 11 days\" stats posted with the ROTW support derby1592?

Personally, I think short rest stats have to be viewed in light of the specific horse, trainer, and circumstances.

At one time, one of my most profitable betting angles was betting horses that won their last start and were coming back in 5 days or less at the same or a similar distance. It worked for MANY trainers.

Totally agree that spacing has to be taken into account in the context of the trainer, the horse, and the specific pattern in question.
