Title: Anyone going to cap Philly 9-6
Post by: Saddlecloth on September 05, 2004, 04:21:12 PM
I downloaded the free product for the heck of it (thx TG).

Was wondering if anyone else was here to share opinions on any of the races.

8th race:

The 7 furlongs should really help Baldomera over her home course against older filly and mares.Tony Black knows every inch of that track and just needs to work out a trip for her coming from well off the pace.She\'s probably a single for me in the pk 3.The guy who makes the ML at Phila is way off-no way Baldomera goes off 12-1 and I\'d be thrilled if she was half of that.

9th:

I\'m having a tough time with this one. This looks really competitive with only a handful of tosses.Any suggestions?I can only get rid of Ambition Unbridled,Format,Night Heron and Via Sacra and I\'m not really thrilled with Reforest either.

10th:

I\'m guessing Iwinski can squeeze one more out of My Snookies Boy.Using Pies Prospect and Dutrows stretchout horse also. The rest don\'t interest me as win candidates.

ok I looked at it but I am a complete novice to this stuff, hope I dont embarres myself.

did not cap the claimers in races 1-3

race 4 - If Fleetway runs anywhere near that 9 on dirt to turf figure he should crush these, and his turf effort was not bad two back, bred to get better with time and distance.  Trainer is a about 40% to pair the number.  horse seems like a standout to me.

race 5 - bad race, more knocks on every horse then positves

race 6 - I like Greyhame off the layoff.  trainer is about 37% to pair his top of 7, and even slightly off that number puts him in the thick of it, plus I get ramon d and 12/1.

race 7 - I really like loaded brush.  trainer is 20% to top of the layoff, and his top of 2 is second in the field.  whichi cox the morning line choice should not even compete.  Been wavering also has great trainer numbers to run back to his 4.

race 8 - love baldomera in here.  his 3 top ties for best in the field, horse has developed nicely as a three year old, and the trainer is about 50% to pair (20% to top that number).  the dutrow chalk is well behind with a 5.

race 9 - tough race, but you have to figure the frankel filly runs a new top first time route with john v, but she will be overbet.

race 10 - royal assault to run a new top with blinkers.

well, I picked up a form, and I see the penn derby picks are the 3 horses w/the best last race beyer, 3 of the 4 horses who have topped a 100 beyer in the last couple months, and 2 of these picks exit a gr I, running 2nd and 3rd, while the rest of the field is lucky if they hit the board in a gr III.
good luck w/those prices.
looks like you and andy are rowing the same liferaft tomorrow.

go wimpy!!

ps

this is not redboarding.

No, and it\'s not expressing an opinion either-- it\'s just your usual low calorie nonsense. But hey, everyone\'s too dumb to notice.

Dude!!!

Is that the best you can do?

tapit was as fast 3 months ago as they are now, with dickenson and normal improvement, he should win, and zito should be there

Saddle-- hopefully it was clear my response was to Beavis.

Beavis-- boy, you are one dumb adolescent. Paul took you down, I told him you could not be a better representative for the Raggies, and to put you back up. Duh.

And there your pearls of wisdom will stay, Dude, until such time as your behavior (not opinions, you don\'t have any) starts bothering the grownups. Which it will, because you haven\'t grown up a day since your Soup (as opposed to salad) days.

Don\'t sweat it. Your stuff plays great. I\'m surprised everyone\'s not stealing your act, or jumping in to tell you how smart you are.

well went one for three and the only race I hit was the chalk. more or less broke even except for the rebates.

I do feel a little vidicated, the horses existing the haskell did not run as I suspected.

$120 exacta with the 7th choice on top in a 12 horse field? Paying $108 the other way. Just how many of those free downloads were there?

I wouldn\'t put too much stock in the result of the PA Derby. The track was carrying speed so much even most of the little people figured it out. Dutrow was very usable at the price and Swingforthefences ran quite well to be beaten only a length for second given the conditions.
