Title: Circus Maximus
Post by: Silver Charm on October 30, 2019, 01:28:44 PM
O\'Brien did his usual of bunching several races together first out this year for this 3YO. Worked his way down to a decent new Top.

Gave the runner a small break and came back running the same Top. 3 more races in about 6 weeks all against older horses. Another New Top. Another break and shows up Saturday off an 8 week rest.

First Lasix. RL Moore in the saddle who is 3-4 in the last 4 calls he took. Last 3 mile races had the lead by the final furlong. Tenacious type looks loaded for bear here.

Likely favorite in a race that is trip dependent and luck dependent.

Trainer has lost 42 in a row in \'Merika and even lost with Rock of Gibraltar in this race.

Trainer has never won the Mile.

Good luck.

No doubt about that!

I figured you would be all in posting on Dennis Moment, the 2020 Kentucky Derby winner??  (joking here of course just b/c I know you love the Louisville connections)

Good Luck on the Cup.  May they ALL make it home safely this weekend...

I thought about making my \"one phone call\" but I just got back from Boston and I\'m scrambling a bit. Also people are out there already I\'m sure and it\'s also \"dammed if you do and dammed if you dont\" time on giving out inside info on a probable even money shot. They have loved this horse but this is the BIGS and anything can happen. The switch to Mr Irad Ortiz jr for the last race shows they mean business.

Speaking of Irad I\'m a little positive on Vino in the Classic. That outside post will help him stalk McKenzie. He too has a win at 8F (almost won at 7F) this campaign. So he has good speed. Late developing 4YO Curlin perhaps and won at 10F at the Track. He likes to bump and lay on horses. Did it in the Wood. May give McKinzie a good fight.
