don\'t know if you listen to the radio program \"RaceDay Las Vegas\" with Ralph Siraco, but yesterday handicapper Jerry Jakowitz was hammering Lukas for running horses into the ground, and runnng unhealthy or doped up (knee tapped)horses...\"not like Bobby Frankel, who I think is a top horseman doing the right thing\"...I almost fell out of my chair.
The whole discussion disgusted me, but the than the clear insinuation that Frankel is above the fray in this regard was stunning to me.
The stats that JJ had that WAS interesting was that Lukas has had more horses finish last (I believe out of his most recent 600 starters)than first. Frankel\'s were much more in the top 12 of the field...not sure what to make of that other than Lukas likes to bet, I guess...
