There\'s going to be a LOT of take-downs all across the fruited plain if THAT becomes the standard.

Happened to be watching.
From my view:

4 clearly bumped the 6 who nearly went down.
6 was just beginning his move from rear of pack and
appeared to have momentum.
6 was surely moving up in the small field.

6 never recovered and (using the rule that he was denied better placing due to interference) he was certainly harmed.

Other than that, the 4 won by a decent margin.

But I said to myself that the correct decision is to take the 4 down and place behind the 6. Which is what they did.

I watched the replays after seeing the original post.  It\'s hard to disagree with anything you said.  The interesting thing, however, is that the hole the 6 was trying to go through was closing from both sides.  While the 4 was came out, the 5 was also coming in and being hit right-handed, and the 4 had actually straightened out when the contact occurred.  Yet the 4 gets DQ\'d and the 5 gets moved up. Tough call.

I dunno about the 4 straightening out, and if we agree he does its just as he\'s making contact after coming out almost two paths

The 4 comes out multiple paths and nearly drops the 6. The 5 did come in, but to me the 4 was the bigger culprit.

No problem with the DQ, agree with Belmont here
