Title: Mihos - Jim Dandy
Post by: Mstrlucky74 on July 26, 2019, 06:35:38 PM
Anyone think he\'s ready to run a big new top? I think I see a 0 or better.

What makes you say that? His sheet looks ok, but nothing is telling me new top today. I think laughing fox is more likely to run a new top after pairing slight new tops in May. Having said that I like Tax. He weakened late in the Belmont, has speed and should get good position on the rail for both turns. Ran fast as a 2 year old, and with a good trip and a pair he will be tough to beat. Good trips win races and I see a good trip for Tax today. Small but competitive field, you probably could make a case for any one of the entries.

According to recent thread \"Exacta Best Value\" notion looks like Tacitus to be favored and probably over bet. So under either or both of the two he figures to have to catch?

Agree on the Laughing Fox sheet.

May foal has some upside and those paired tops were at the distance.Steady works coming into this.

Mihos is well worth playing here. Went on the bench after the GP race. Came back and ran a decent number. His sheet is not all that different than Global Campaign and is about 10x the price. I’ll be sending a 1,3 exacta.
