Dad and I are changing it up and going to Monmouth Park(we\'ve never been) instead of Saratoga. We will be going up the morning of 8/3 and staying overnight.
I don\'t know the layout so looking for a little help. Ideally we would like somewhere with a table and close to the track and finish line. Inside would be best. My dad has Parkinsons. He gets around ok, just a little slow. Do they sell seating tickets like Saratoga? Is there a mad dash for seats like Saratoga?
Also, any hotel advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much.
Haven\'t been to track in ages but used to live there and if you are a Marriott points user, go to the Marriott site and the Sheraton Eatontown (Sheraton now Marriott) only 17500 points per night while the hotel is over $400 per night. This is a definite points overlay. Sorry about your dad and have fun. Would give anything to have my father back for a day at the races, win or lose!

Terrace dining room is your best shot, given your stated desires. Call the track and ask for reservations. Air-con to beat the band and great view. Acres of easily accessible free seating is available downstairs. While Haskell Day is typically mobbed (excepting this year), with that event in the rear-view mirror, your concerns are minimized. Have fun.
