I had no money on this race, but I\'ve got to believe the winner comes down if his jock isn\'t named Stevens. The majority decision was that the contact was right at the wire, but it\'s obvious from watching Prat\'s whip arm that the contact was before that. The stewards must have the technology to sync the head-on and pan shots. Didn\'t the CHRB shift stewards around after a similar decision in favor of Mike Smith?
I\'ve seen some hideous decisions by the SoCal stewards but, IMHO, this wasn\'t one of them. Ultimately, I might have voted for a DQ but it was damn near a coin flip.
