Title: Richiesinthehouse
Post by: billk5300s on July 03, 2018, 03:21:34 PM
Not sure how many Chicagoan players are still out here but if any of you have seen the last 3 races by this horse you\'d be very impressed.  On Sunday two horses went after Richiesinthehouse and Another Richie sat behind the battle making a well timed move only to see Richiesinthehouse draw off and win by around 10 lengths.  All of this after coming back on short rest.  Rivelli is having a Jason Servis type meet at Arlingon.  Very tough to play against.

But when two Richie\'s make up 2/3 of the tri....you have to be thrilled.  I recorded the stretch run audio and sent it to some of my friends to let them know what I thought for entertainment value.

Rivzinthehouse won the finale also.  So Richiesintheouse (named for owner Richard Ravin) and Rivznthehouse (named for trainer Larry Rivelli) were Both in the house Sunday.

On a serious note, his horses were pretty bad in Florida this past winter, specifically Gulfstream.  He is friends with Wesley Ward and his 2yo program at Chicago seems to mimic Ward\'s early 2yo success.  He had one this summer that was bred by Ward if I recall, had worked at Turfway for a while (for Ward obviously) but ended up in Rivelli\'s hands for debut.

I eliminated him twice this past weekend over the 3 day stretch and he won both of those races so I hear ya.  His uncle is Jimmy Divito I believe who you will see also is pretty successful with young horses and sprinters.
