Here\'s a guess at final odds based on Gold Cup double probables (from the 1 and 4):

1. Justify. 6/5
2. Free Drop Billy. 32/1
3. Bravazo. 11/1
4. Hofburg. 7/2
5. Restoring Hope. 48/1
6. Gronkowski. 24/1
7. Tenfold. 8/1
8. Vino Rosso. 5/1
9. Noble Indy. 25/1
10. Blended Citizen. 14/1

I\'m surprised that Justify is that long.

More bet to place and show on Hofburg than Justify.

Me to.  What does this mean?  Most (almost all) \"smart money\" isn\'t banging an odds on or worse favorite 24 hours before the race.  So the second BB trainee going for the triple crown in three years is \"luke warmish?\"

Possibly the visual power of the Preakness stretch run playing a role?  Really surprising though.  I never thought he\'d do anything other than take all the money. That price would probably represent some value.  Not saying I\'d play a straight win ticket on him regardless in this spot, but with all things considered 6/5 seems extremely generous.

If Justify is on the board in that neighborhood close to post I\'d have to think he takes a substantial amount of late action, right?

He looks more like 3/5 in the Manhattan-Belmont double probables from Beach Patrol.  Bee Jersey also got bet today.  Are they betting the speed more heavily?

Smoking fast 1:38 mile...

I\'m done I think, not one horse could run with him in a mile in 1:38? Not one?

I know, I know, track variant, raw times, but the horse has 1:37 median mile, from 6 races, 4 tracks, 3 states, and two surface conditions, and Bolt was destroyed by a 1:33 mile, and came home in...about 1:38. At some point, 1:38 is 1:38.

They\'ll probably build a statue to George Soros\'s horse, who appears to be part of an elaborate money laundering scheme according to several news reports. I notice NBC didn\'t mention Soros or the 200 Chinese billionaires or the money laundering. They could have done a heartwarming cameo on when he was a card carrying member of the NAZI party when he was young in Germany.

sigh

I didn\'t realize Alex Jones employed a racing analyst.

I\'m sure they snuffed out Anthony Bourdain because he had too much insider info on Mike Smith, too.

You could have just written \"sigh\" and this would have been a much better post.

I am as far left as you will ever meet. I have never listened to or read anything by Alex Jones in my life.

However, I don\'t get my news from Bill Marher and John Oliver, I get it from actual new sources. That Soros was an active member of the NAZI party is a known fact. I would prefer that the list of greatest horses ever did not include one owned by a real honest to god NAZI. YMMV.

The money laundering is in a NY Times article just released.

If you like him, I guarantee it is only because you do not know anything about him other than that he is a foreign national who gives tens of millions of dollars to democratic PACs and foundations. Dem, Rep, doesn\'t matter, they are all corrupt.

Those Chinese billionaires? Look up their companies, most make money off some of the worst sweatshops in the world, some of which have histories of worker\'s committing suicide.

You really ought to invest in the NY Times, if you\'d read this week, you\'d know what I was talking about.

You\'re barking up the wrong conspiracy theory. I\'ve even written for that paper, pal, more than a few times. Lighten up and lay off the Protocols stuff, okay? It\'s unbecoming, not to mention completely untruthful and poisonous.
