Title: Pardon my ignorance - question for TG (or anyone)
Post by: skitimber on May 02, 2018, 03:53:40 PM
Why are Aiden Obrien\'s right hand side number of starts on each of his horse\'s sheets (TG figure based) so small.  More than just Mendelssohn and also curious (never noticed) that the TG figure based numbers not the same as the left hand side (run based) numbers.  In most cases, many starts to go by, but in this case, the difference is enormous and (right hand side) unusable because of single digits.

Thanks in advance.

I had seen that O\'Brien is 50-1-2-2 in US dirt starts overall. In his defense, some of his horses were brought over in an attempt to run well on the dirt for breeding purposes in events like the Breeder\'s Cup Classic and not many of those were brought over with the race in mind the whole year - usually it was more of an afterthought after completing major European races like the Arc.
