Title: Transylvania Keeneland
Post by: dsipes on April 02, 2018, 04:05:39 PM
Interesting Transylvania at Keeneland after the draw.  The favorite ANALYZE IT drew horribly -- Post 12 (just 4 for 92 since 2001) -- and Pletcher\'s horse MARAUD didn\'t do a lot better with the rail.  CAPTIVATING MOON looks real interesting with a grest post draw, bad trip note in last, and super good trainer angle.  In his last at Tampa (the Columbia Stakes), he got shut off inside in the stretch, had to steady, shuffle to the outside, and looked great getting his momentum back to get up for a good 2nd in a big field.  Chris Block the trainer, who Mike Maloney made emphasis to mention in turf routes at Keeneland in his new book, BETTING WITH AN EDGE.  As this race is a prep for the American Turf on Derby Day, any Thorograph analysis would be appreciated.
