Title: ROTW - breeding
Post by: shanahan on February 17, 2018, 04:13:20 AM
No doubt Noble is several pts faster.  But is the distance breeding there?  1/16th further may not be a big deal, but I think this pushes it.  Gotta go with the Tapit, and at the expected odds, putting the 10 underneath in tris/ex.
Seems like a big hurdle, even for Pletcher, in just 3rd start.

In race 8, any thoughts on the ARG horse for Mott/JV?

One another note, Lookin\' at Lee records just 4 works for race 3?  Other thoughts:
Race 11 - #5
Race 12 - using fave (#6) but also the 1st time gelding, 3rd out, #8 (10:1)

Looking for another move up from #5 She\'s a Julie in the 7th race second off the long layoff. Her stablemate Monomy Girl should keep Classy Act busy up near the front.Kinda sets up for a closer and she gets weight from most of them.Price should be right (12-1 ML)

In the 8th the Mott #12 likely gets first run if he hasn\'t been wasted wide. The added distance shouldn\'t be a factor.Certainly hasn\'t been over raced so even as a 6yo room to improve in this barn.

#8 Synchrony needs a trip from behind but looks like the horse that will be motoring late.New top off the long rest?

Noble Indy won\'t have much of an excuse unless he\'s shuffled/boxed.
Handled the 8.5f\'s last time so I don\'t see an issue here.

Using #1 High North underneath to come running late into the tri/super saving ground.Price is there for #10 Ebben but I won\'t play him for a new top until they cut him back in distance. One turn mile maybe?
