He\'s back at Gulfstream and I believe he\'s 5 for 5.
He must be spotting \'em well!
Happy Holidays to all!
George
Not sure about 5 for 5 but.......
I believe he didn\'t win a race from June 3, 2016 to December 5, 2017.
I have him 5 for 11 from December 6th through today and a few of those were in Maiden Claiming races. Today\'s winner exploded down the turf stretch to inhale and pass the field. The horse was bet from 10-1 ml to 5-2 in the win pool.
Just getting his horses back into form I presume..........
He has a 20-1 ml in Tuesday\'s races in a Mdn Clm race.
Richie,
The 6th at GP today required a TG 10 at most to win.
The 1st time Vitalis had not run on the turf since August despite having his lifetime top on turf.
Only one dirt race was close to his 4 turf efforts.
Makes one wonder what the other two conditioners were thinking when they constantly ran this horse on the dirt.
Only two others in the field looked remotely competitive.
My thought handicapping the race earlier in the day was that the ML was somewhat misguided.
I do realize Vitalis has a \"history\".
It\'s the V7.

I didn\'t realize he was back before this weekend. he didn\'t lose any races Friday through Sunday. 4 for 4 or 5-5 including a $50 winner
That he was even re licensed in Florida is a total joke.....
