Title: Is Beach Patrol the Favorite for the BC Turf?
Post by: Silver Charm on October 01, 2017, 07:39:21 AM
109 Beyer yesterday. Totally coming into his own now with a finishing kick!! The Filly Arc winner is not comong over. Finished for the year. Sure there will other capable runners but so far Euro\'s look average!!

Gonna be a long 5 weeks waiting for Mr James Covello and Sheep Pond Partners...😎😎

Definitely the best in USA and his to be part of your horizontal plays with some Euros.  Eagerly awiaiting TG\'s seminar on this race.

Just hoping it wasn\'t a Negative 3 or 4 yesterday. Would too much even though there is Chad factor. He has been successful shipping out and 5 weeks.

More interesting than if BP is the fav, is if Jerry will view the SA numbers from yesterday the same as Beyer or if TG will have a very different view.

Beyer gave Paradise Woods a 105.  Final time:  1:44.34
Beyer gave Bolt D\'Oro a 100.  Final time:  1:43.54

Decisions, decisions...this is an interesting one headed towards BC....

I wouldn\'t mind seeing Oscar Performance give it another go. Had 2 slow breezes in his workouts after the Secretariat and no works for 20 days after it.

May have been a bit short on conditioning yesterday.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Oscar Performance would have a tough time with World Approval and Beach Patrol again not to mention the really good Euro\'s coming over.  Even the Euro second string look awfully good.  Hard to win on the front end on Del Mar turf based on the most recent meet statistics.  There were 53 turf races at 8f and 9f combined.  Only 8 of those 53 went wire to wire.

Several things to note:(1) World Approval is going in the mile;(2)this is 12f;(3)OP has proven he can stalk and win;(4) beware of the overraced Euro;(5) they\'ll be a lot of opinions on here for the next 4 weeks;(6)with McAdoo coaching the Giants Tom Coughlin actually never left;(7)as a diehard Yankee fan I\'m petrified of Tuesday\'s WC game as talk radio already setting the pitching matchups against the Indians;(8)never underestimate the power of the majority to \"mush\" the Yankees or any other odds-on favorite into defeat.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

Andy on Byk this morning justifying the fig since he can\'t elevate the show horse going from 70 (last dirt) to 96 Beyer if the winner were to get the raw 113.
