Gosh, NYRA Bets is going to be disappointed. Can I get some new hats?
If Uncle Bill posted some picks that would be awesome.  Dennis Bless

There\'s only you and one other guy? Bullshit.

Find some random employee and tell him/her to have at it.

That\'s too bad. I was interested in your take on the Pa. Derby, a race with many question marks and some intriguing possibilities.

IMO,the Cotillion a much better opportunity with the 2 fastest horses leaving from the Parx death posts.

I\'ll toss the Hollendorfer filly off a grueling Alabama. The 3 inside fillies are intriguing with Lockdown and Actress looking alike on the TG\'s. Servis dangerous at Parx but between the two, I\'ll give Lockdown the edge based on works.

Proud and Fearless also intriguing with Jones and gets a few lbs. from the 2 inside of her. Dangerous if she bounces back to the 2 prior and 20-1 ML looks about right.

Good Luck,
Joe B.

My hurried take on the Pennsylvania Derby boils down to: Who\'ll run a 0 or less (with, of course, a good ground-saving trip). Note via the TG Archives that Baffert\'s BAYERN won this race by 6 lengths in 2014 with a -1.5.

A bunch of these runners have bone-rattlingly fast negative figures in their pasts. The essential task here is to interpolate their regression or recovery status. That\'s why I asked for Jerry\'s experienced eyes.

BOTTOM LINE: I\'ll be playing against Chad and Todd winning. Using Baffert and O\'Neill no-brainers reluctantly. Playing/pressing/structuring around Navarro (GAME OVER) and Motion (IRISH WAR CRY). Hoping the bottom two can work out decent trips, which might not be easy here.

GAME OVER was only in Jorge Navarro\'s barn for a few days before he ran giant at Mountaineer. Even if he pairs that number (adding to the legend that Jerry\'s numbers are notoriously \"straight”) he may still get a nice check here because he\'s in light at 117. Can second-time Navarro, with more time, on a more \"home\" track, with bullet works into this, be a good thing at 15-1 morning line?

Graham Motion says IRISH WAR CRY is training better than ever. Is he zig-zagging back to a negative number that can win this? I say yes.

Fascinating race.

Not This Time

Brody\'s Cause

Paddy O\'Prado

Have been the top horses from the Albaugh Family Stables in Des Moines Ia. Their entry into today\'s Pennsylvania Derby, Watch Me Whip, appears to be, at first and second glance, in over his head. The horse is unaccomplished and slow to date. Maybe the connections like cheese steaks or entered in another race where they expect to earn transportation expenses?

Banking on the idea these farmers from the French region of Iowa have some  little known reason to be in this race my play (based somewhat on the dam\'s offspring stats is to place this dark horse 3rd in a tri behind West Coast and Irap.

Wondering what kind of pace scenario I\'ll witness?

Unfortunate injury for IRAP. He\'s always been a game colt and that sharp and awkward left turn coming off the turn might have contributed to the injury. After being vanned off, the DRF reports -  Doug O\'Neill later texted that \"Irap was resting comfortably in his stall and has an appointment Monday morning at the New Bolton Center with Dr. Dean Richardson to surgically repair his left front sesamoids. Prognosis is good.\"

West Coast looked like Pegasus (without wings) coming back after the finish. As BB said he has really filled out and is, imo. a handsome animal. If that colt was fatigued in any way I couldn\'t see it. Guessing this performance was comparable to his Travers race. Nice to see Nick Zito get a share of the purse money, I\'m pretty certain there is no Indian Medicine Man  in his stable.

Baffert\'s stable is making my head spin. Today Divining Rod ran a good 2nd to Sharp Azteca further complimenting Drefong a few weeks back. Hoppertunity is back working out like a sprinter, I wonder where he\'s headed. Doesn\'t make a lot of sense to me to send more than three to the Classic.

Cupid is the puzzle to me, I don\'t think 1+1/4 is his best distance and I also suspect we haven\'t yet seen his best. The way his stablemates are jumping up Sheesh. Maybe the dirt mile.

In any event shipping out to SoCal from East of the Mississippi (other than turf runners) seems kinda pointless right now. I don\'t even know who his 2 y/o\'s are but I\'m sure I will.

BB\'s dominance is literally unbelievably and that is the shame. The beat goes on!
