Thought it might be a good time to discuss trainers and their performances so far at the Spa. I\'ve been staying away from these guys who usually train around 20% but seemingly can\'t find their way.
Asmussen (0)
Diodoro (0)
Rudy Rod (9%)
Casse (3%)
Ward (9%)
Does Asmussens record make Gun Runner vulnerable? His horse in the stake yesterday had a great sheet and never picked up his feet.
At Del Mar, note that Diodoro is also 0 for 6.
Any Jorge fans at Mountaineer by chance today?
Mr. Blue Suede Shoes,
Interesting WV Derby:
Just finishing that sequence.
Waiting for a weather report and changes. Since the incumbent meteorologist is apparently either in retirement or on the TVG Whitney Walk with richiebee and jimbo, I am having to rely on the Weather Channel.
Looks like possible showers all over the East Coast.
As to the 8th race, the Navarro is lightly raced and a new trainer for each start. Working at MTH since July 13. Nothing wrong with the line or the workout pattern. Probably jumps up some in this spot but starts quite a bit slower.
Probably use in the horizontals. I will wait to see track condition, scratches and the tote before committing to verticals.

lightly raced horse that I would expect to improve even without the \"magic\". A bit of a wildcard imo, not particularly fast but should move forward and then you add in the trainer angle and who knows. If lookin at lee runs his race I think he\'ll be tough, but don\'t love his running style and no guarantee he gets back to his derby top. If he doesn\'t fire then I think a 3 could win it, which leaves the race wide open. Patch imo, is an underlay.
Bob - perhaps the talk of weather, Fairmount\'s adventures, and numbers theory will bring Mr. D. out of his self-imposed exile? It\'s a sad state of affairs lately with limited TG discussion and Richie posting more on the Rags board than he does here. Hell, I even miss Jimbo.
