Title: Dmr 8th
Post by: Tavasco on July 29, 2017, 04:34:01 PM
I\'m gonna take a stab on the inside horse.

Has Letter power. Probably will get beat down to even money.

Nicely done Tavasco!! I gave it a \"stab\" too! Who do you like in the 9th? :)

Whew! A very eventful trip, but I didn\'t bet enough!

Well done atakante.

An assist to J.D. Loudermilk.

In the 9th, I didn\'t think Drefong could possible go off @ m/l 5/2. He did win the BC sprint last out and same trainer.

I like Kobe\'s Back under someway somehow with the 2,4, 8.

That was a weird race, hope Mike Smith\'s doing Ok.

Yep, Drefong burned a lot of tickets. Horizontaal, verticals, anything with Roy H on top. A less experienced rider might not have bailed out.

So that\'s two strikes. Just when we became somewhat convinced we couldn\'t bet against BB or MS after Belmont day. That myth is toast what\'s next?

Just for giggles can TG post the sheet for Ransom the Moon?  Top of 7 as a 4-year old this past December and then moved to Mr. D\'Amato.  Must have been the shoes, right?  Wow, coast to coast this weekend Navarro and D\'Amato.  People wonder why it\'s nearly impossible to create new fans.

To be fair Ransom the Moon\'s fourteen races prior to the trainer change came on turf or synthetics and all were routing.

Surface switch and cutback to sprints maybe part of the giant move up with this D\'Amato horse.

Hard to believe that Malcolm Pierce a trainer for 20 years with roughly 20% win rate each year wasn\'t as smart as D\'Amato.
