Title: Derby Morning Derby Tales
Post by: Silver Charm on May 03, 2017, 08:18:39 AM
Guys the McCracken connections feel like they have done all they can and he is where they need him. Is he ready to run a 4 point new top? I don\'t think anyone knows or is thinking that. He is ready. He will fire. It\'s a really tough race. Be sensible.

Visually Classic Empire seemed to be into his gallop. Gunny is built like a small tank and was putting some fairly serious work even it wasn\'t on the Rab. Always Dreaming and Paradise filly went out super early. In the shadow of darkness.

Derby Tales. So we are standing g there with Carl Nafzger and he harkens back to when he won his first Derby. Said a big group of them went to dinner after and when they got there someone announced to the Hostess \"Do you know who he is he just won the Kentucky Derby\". The Hostess flatly said \"Great, does that mean you will be dining in or sitting at the bar\"...

Good Luck my friends:)

Do you know if gunny looks like he\'s put on weight since the Florida Derby? There was some talk that he looked like he\'d lost some weight between the FOY and the Florida Derby. Thank you for any insight you may have.
