Yesterday\'s TVG coverage did the impossible- it made me feel sorry for the TVG crew trying to explain why nearly every GP stake interfered with coverage of either an FG stake race or its sister track SA. It got so bad,that when the first race at SA went off at its usual 12:30 post and went up against a mid card GP race, Paul La Duca could be heard muttering in frustration. The capper was, of course, running the Pan American ( after the typical circling of horses for 8 minutes after published post time) directly against the Louisiana Derby. It is either deliberate by GP executives to take handle from CD or a form of gross incompetence. If any executive from GP is reading this post, try for once - just once- to think about the horseplayers who watch and bet, without whom you would have to work for a living. Fortunately, the streaming product on line has proven to be a fine substitute ( without the TVG hucksters).
