Today is perhaps the only day of real racing that we have live in Illinois. To celebrate I\'m going to share my opinion on the Arlington Million. It rained heavy at times yesterday and they are calling for more rain this morning. Although it\'s been a fairly dry summer here I believe the turf may be listed as something less than firm. Perhaps soft or yielding. There is an abundance of pace and stalkers in the race. I believe this sets up nicely for 9 - Mondailiste who will be coming from way out of it. He is 8-1. I will use in exacta\'s with 5 - The Pizza Man who loves the Arlington lawn and will also be charging. I also believe that 6 - Kasaqui and 11 - World Approval could get a piece of the pie and can be used in exacta\'s, Tri\'s and super\'s. Good Luck to all!!!
Outstanding opinions in handicapping the Million with Mondaliste and Kasaqui. Hope you were able to hit the exacta, tri, and super. You deserved to have at least the exacta and possibly more!!

I loved the 6 in there. Tons the best bottled up inside and destroyed by Prado on the 7 forcing Albarado to go inside after Prado sat on the rail with a dead horse. Brings to memory a discussion on here several months back about saving ground on the grass versus going wide. When they crawl I no longer want my money on anything that\'s saving ground.
Would love to hear how you came up with the winner. I tossed immediately as a one run turf miler.

Mondialiste was rather logical in here to me. His two best performances TG
wise were in North America on lasix. As to him being a \"miler\", he was coming
out of a G2 where he was second, beat less than a length in a 1-5/16th mile
race.
So I made a huge score. NOT. When NYRA\'s Saratoga Live on MSG Network
cut exactly at 7:00 pm to a Team Tennis match, and I switched to the Met game,
I thought I had cashed a $10 double paying $80.
The stewards apparently thought differently as I learned when I checked my
account Sunday morn. I am thinking the DQ was rather clear cut as there was no
hue and cry on the TG board w/r/t the DQ.
Agree with Mr. Bee.....I didn\'t bet or handicap the race but looking at the sheets in the reboard room I don\'t see how you can toss him. Numbers from his lasix on races are very competitive with these and his last shows that the distance shouldn\'t have been an issue.
It\'s automatic for me to not to throw out any Euro\'s moving here and getting Lasix, and with competitive numbers they are always very live.

My (costly) mistake for not using a 4-1 shot with Kasaqui. Not sure I agree with \"rather logical\" in this one. Race flow was not going to fit his style and the aberration at 1 5/16 for a 6yo wasn\'t enough to make him a top contender in a race of this caliber where others were more accomplished going long.
Perhaps the new trainer knows Chad Brown.
