Does anyone know where you can watch race replays or get photos from lesser known(than the Derby, BC, etc.) stakes races and horses from the 90\'s or earlier. I am specifically interested in Joyeux Danseur\'s victory in the 1998 Early Times Turf Classic.
I was just starting to get into racing at the time and his performance was the most impressive race I had ever seen, as well as having won me a good chunk of money. He literally exploded in the stretch. That race is what got me hooked on racing.
Desperately seeking photo\'s. Any advice out there?
You might try Cindy Pierson Dulay\'s website at: http://horseracing.about.com/ She has tons of info about horseracing.

When in doubt do a google search.
jwo7,
I\'m nearly positive I have it on tape. In fact I have most of them on tape from 1989 onward.
I\'ll try to remember to look for it in the near future and let you know.

Is that the race in which he appeared to drop back somewhat approaching the turn while in the top flight, drifted out on the turn, then ran by them all as if they were tied to posts ?
I also remeber his next start to be a big disappointment.
Try Thoroughbred Memories. Don\'t remember the address but you can search it. I\'ve got about 20 pieces I\'ve purchased from Jim over the years. Its a good thing my wife likes looking at horses...
If the horse literally exploded I want a photo too.
Catalin,
I\'ve seen your wife, you need to make sure that is all she likes looking at.
TGJB,
The horse didn\'t literally explode but that story hits home because a young man who I was with, a newcomer to the game, put a NICKLE on that horse in that race because of your numbers.
He was 18 years old at the time...hooked for life now.
This is the website.
