Title: All Stakes Pick 4
Post by: FrankD. on June 11, 2016, 11:29:24 AM
The best laid plans of a day in the Belmont backyard went a bit askew this morning within 10 minutes of leaving the house as Laura did the unthinkable these days in stopping for a red light. We got rear ended by a lady on her cell phone trying to run the light blasting through us! Everyone is ok, a little banged up but it\'s living room downs as opposed to live. Trackjohn says less than 40K on hand early and he is getting a dose of richiebee up close and personal.

I\'m singling Flintshire and will be banging him awfully hard in tri\'s and supers on top only in the Woodford and Exaggerator will get a 50% share of my ticket in the finale. Not one to look for a $200 pick 4 I\'ll be spreading like the red head in purple hot pants waving at traffic on the corner in the first 2 legs looking for a bomb in super competitive heats.

Just A Game:
1,2,3,8,12,13 with a press on the 2,12 & 13 hoping they don\'t kill the 12 as it seems like a Chad Brown festival. Lots of early foot in here should set up a cavalry charge in the last 1/16.

Met Mile:
One of my all time favorite races.
4,6,8,11,13 pressing the outside horse 8,11,13. Fraudsted gets none of my money on top as a probable favorite, I may use him in 2nd, 3rd & 4th positions with the 5 listed in tris and supers. Upstart has to be included at anything remotely close to the ML and Calculator may be sitting on a really big effort at every bit of 10/1.

Woodford:
Very simply Flintshire is way too good for these, only a horror trip can beat him IMHO. In the old days he would have been assigned 130 lbs.

Belmont:
I\'ve been on the Exaggerator band wagon since March no reason other than price to jump off today. The horse is incredibly resilient, has kept his weight and as a Curlin is only getting better as he goes on. He gets 50% of my ticket.
The only other 2 I can possibly use on top are Destin and Stradivari with Strad & SBN seemingly being the wise guy horses de jour Destin will end up with pretty good value as the above 2 are $30 & $23 shorter in Gold Cup doubles.

Good luck,

Frank D.

Good luck today Frank.

I got rear ended on the Freeway Thursday afternoon, stopped in the fast lane.  Guy was looking back, looked ahead to cars at a standstill and nailed me. Glad you are well.

Just woke up an hour ago, time to dive into things.

Just a Game

FAUFILER took a bit to get acclimated then cold-cocked a decent bunch in Hallandale going caboose to conqueror, with her last half in a ridiculous 45 and change.  Shipped to Arcadia and another explosion beaten a half length when bumped just as she changed leads. Extraordinarily well bred 5yo should run these down.

MET MILE

Upstart FINALLY got blinkers and responded with blistering half mile three weeks ago yet trusting him is like trusting your wife on a girls trip to Las Vegas. Not a true miler in this bunch though and very well weighted heat.  ALL

MANHATTAN

FLINTSHIRE worked lights out last Saturday and if he runs his race he wins.

BELMONT

EXAGGERATOR will not get the pace he has seen of late but his B+ game beats these.  Also including the \"Governor\" who would not need to improve much too threaten a reasonably weak 148th edition of this esteemed race.  bbb
