Title: Belmont Day Seminar -- JB?
Post by: Strike on June 08, 2016, 10:45:57 AM
I believe a possible seminar was mentioned a couple of weeks ago for the Belmont Day stakes races. Have you decided to do one?

Private Zone forced to scratch from True North as NYSGC declares Brian Lynch banned from participating in NY racing, no explanation but sounds serious. Same NYSGC boasts of NY racing being transparent.

There will be a seminar available later today. Details will be posted shortly on the home page.

Lynch failed a drug test for marijuana according to DRF.

I just alerted TDN to that story. I almost don\'t know where to begin.

Story says they randomly test backside workers for drugs and alcohol. Pretty sure NY is not a dry state, alcohol is legal.

More to story, someone dropped a dime!

Woody Stephens would have been run off the backside by 830 every morning!
Miller ponies and Jim Beam for breakfast daily in his office.

Pretty tough definition of a work place IMHO for backstretch workers who live and work in the same confines?

Very unfair to the owners.

Title: Lynch Suspension
Post by: jimbo66 on June 09, 2016, 12:01:58 PM
Not for anything, but then we wonder why we have a dying game.

Trainers that get caught cheating the game and effectively STEALING money from us, the clients, get 30 day suspensions, 45 day suspensions, etc.

A trainer smokes pot, which has zero impact on the race result, endangers nobody on the track, and certainly doesn\'t perpetrate a fraud on the clients/customers (like cheating does) and he gets indefinitely suspended.

Only on Mars and in racing.....

Jim

Jimbo,

Bryan Lynch doesn\'t owe me an apology. Just another victim of the empty talk our establishment has regarding marijuana use versus everything \"allowable\".

Comical at best
Only a step from rage
Just one more hypocrisy
