Title: Belmont all Stakes P4
Post by: Niall on May 13, 2016, 03:45:22 PM
Assuming they are left on the grass, track condition will play a factor. Given that they are running on both courses, will the rail placement make a difference? On the inner I would think so. Also NYRA rewards is giving $ away if you play the exacta in the Man O War, check it out

Main track is muddy but the turf is firm? Over 1/4 inch of rain overnight and more showers after 400 today.

I\'m taking a bit of an unconventional swing at this pick 4 as I\'m not interested in a $60-$80 payoff.

Ruffian:
Spelling Again was scratched from the Humana last week in KY and should be the controlling speed at a price. Include Betty ran very well here last year, 2 for 2 at a mile, working well since being mugged at the break on Gotham Day as well as closing in the lane against the grain, Proctor 3 for 3 at the meet so far.

Beaugay:
Ball Dancing\'s A game looks awfully tough and its tough to go past Recepta.

Peter Pan:
Unified should be a single and will get 80% of my ticket. Wild About Deb and Adventist will get the savers. This also looks like a tri play to me as well as the exacta won\'t provide any value.

Man O War:
Wake Forest was all dressed up with no place go in the Pan Am allowing for Kaigun to win for the first time in 2 years. The Demon Deacon will get 50% of the ticket. Morandi won a Group 1 way back when, likes some give in the ground and JJ will take the short way around at a price. Mott\'s Payson refugees all seem to be winning 2nd after the escape, Closing Bell adds blinks, is working well and my Cinco de Mayo friend said Si as I scoured the grounds looking for him today to express my gratitude.

Good luck,

Frank D.
