seems like a long time ago...
I have lost interest, 5 months without play. Mostly related with takeout, need for stronger rules/transparency. In addition I live in Mexico, and taxes are applied for all winning tickets, plus maximum pay is capped at $1,500 USD for a winning ticket... (a $5,000 trifecta will be capped at $1,000, to $1,500 per dollar)
the good thing is, that I live at the border zone with El Paso, TX; and, I will go to Sunland Park race track to make some WPS bets for the Kentucky Derby... don\'t want to bet exotics, tax for non-residents is around 30% for exotic bets
If you see all this, it doesn\'t make sense to bet on the horses. Sad, since I like to handicap a lot

No excuses needed, given those punitive taxation levels. It\'s almost as bad as the cumulative taxation applied through each step involved in chasing huge lottery payoffs --- you\'re beaten, before you start.
