this year, has had but four Derby starters up until this year, when one quarter
of the field might be sired by Gainesway\'s prized stallion.
Coolmore\'s website boasts that Giant\'s Causeway was overall leading U.S.
stallion for the years 2009, 2010 and 2012. GC, who is the sire of Brody\'s
Cause, also has not thus far distinguished himself as a Derby stud:

So between them, GC and Tapit have been overall U.S. leading sire for six of
the last eight years, and it might be said that they have not produced the

for 4YOs; GC\'s Sire Index is 11 for 3YOs and 9 for 4YOs.
