What a difference a day makes!!!
I\'ve been in a mega tournament pool since the event went to 64 teams and have not collected a nickel in over 10 years. I was filled with optimism after yesterday watching Yale, Little Rock and Gonzaga pull major upsets and getting UCONN and Providence to advance as 9\'s. The day ended 15-1 with Arizona as my only team not advancing.
I was positive with the $148 horse yesterday that the rainbow would go down and there were 4 alive but none even had a shared ticket with the 11th race winner. Now at this point I have no illusions of taking down the whole enchilada but with investments from $28.80 turning into $1300 and with a max bet of $324 so far I\'ve hit it 8 times in the past month with the largest being $5900.
It was joy in Mudville, I\'m off and running looking to take down a 25K first prize in my tourney pool and we live to fight another day in the rainbow.
Today started off with Syracuse and VCU advancing as 10 seeds, Nova rolled and I\'m 18-1. Ok Hawaii beats Cal no biggie at 18-2 and Michigan ST is losing to Middle Tennessee but they surely will rally. After all they are in my final 4 and I have them playing Nova with Nova winning in the final, North Carolina and Duke are the rest of my foursome.
I\'m 2x2x2 in the first 3 legs of a chalky looking sequence having 4x3x4 in the final 3 legs of a $76.80 ticket. Mich St is coming back and a Navarro horse pays $21 in the 4th leg. We\'re looking good, go Sparty and lets get the best prices we can in the final 2 legs.
More chalk in the 5th leg and the Green team is in BIG trouble, still in the hunt though. Alive with 4 in the finale 1,5,7 & 8 and Chia Ghost is in the lead turning for home.
Here comes the 6 horse going by @ 35/1 and the Spartans go down down down.
No rainbow 6 and wait until next year to take down the tourney pool.
Time to start capping tomorrows cards.

I was going to tell you how impressed I was with your handicapping and bracket, until you admitted to having Villanova and Duke as part of your final four. Lol:) That sounds like quite the bracket contest you are in! As for hitting the rainbow six multiple times, I am very impressed. It\'s difficult enough to hit pick 4\'s consistently, let alone a pick 6. Keep up the good work!
Patrick
Am alive in my bracket. :)
Need
31-0 Benedictine over St. Thomas College of Minnesota.

By the way, Duncan Robinson of Michigan played not to far from you. Started his career as Natinal Freshman of the Year at Williams College. Transferred to Michigan after receiving a \'full ride\' offer.
Interesting story:

Frank -- didn\'t you know that the Rainbow 6 is a sucker bet? ;-)
Well done my friend
